Ripple is integrating AI agents into its corporate treasury platform as the company expands further into enterprise financial software following its $1 billion acquisition of GTreasury last year.
The new GSmart tools have been added to Ripple Treasury, the platform formerly known as GTreasury, allowing companies to monitor cash positions, manage financial risks, analyze forecasts, and receive AI-powered recommendations for treasury decisions.
The AI-powered features are designed to help corporate finance teams improve decision-making by providing deeper insights into liquidity management, risk exposure, and future cash requirements.
Ripple acquired GTreasury in October as part of its strategy to expand beyond blockchain payments and enter the broader corporate treasury software market. The acquisition gave Ripple access to an established platform used by companies to manage complex financial operations.
The addition of AI agents reflects a broader trend among financial technology companies, as businesses increasingly adopt artificial intelligence tools to automate analysis and improve operational efficiency.
Ripple’s move also highlights the company’s effort to position itself not only as a blockchain infrastructure provider but also as an enterprise financial technology company.
The key question now is whether AI-powered treasury tools can drive wider adoption among large corporations and create new growth opportunities for Ripple’s enterprise business.
