NEAR has partnered with Ondo Finance to bring tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds directly to near.com, allowing eligible users to access traditional market assets alongside digital assets through a unified platform.
The integration connects near.com with Ondo Stocks, a tokenized securities platform that has surpassed $1 billion in total value locked and recorded more than $26 billion in cumulative trading volume. The initial rollout includes 20 assets covering tokenized U.S. stocks, ETFs, and commodity-linked products.
Through the integration, eligible users can access tokenized versions of major assets including Nvidia, Tesla, and Apple shares, as well as ETFs such as QQQ. Transactions can be completed using USDC, Bitcoin, and other supported assets across more than 30 blockchain networks.
The infrastructure behind the integration is powered by NEAR Intents, which manages routing and execution across different networks. This removes the need for users to manually bridge assets or manage multiple wallets when interacting with tokenized financial products.
Near.com also provides confidential execution features, allowing supported transactions to be processed without publicly exposing transaction details. This capability adds another layer of privacy to the experience of accessing tokenized traditional assets onchain.
Ondo Stocks provides eligible investors with access to tokenized securities that track traditional equities and ETFs. The platform has expanded across multiple blockchain ecosystems, including Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain, while also becoming available through wallets, exchanges, and decentralized finance applications.
The partnership extends beyond the near.com interface, with Ondo assets becoming accessible through additional wallets, protocols, and applications connected to NEAR Intents, subject to eligibility requirements and regional restrictions.
The integration highlights the growing convergence between traditional finance and blockchain infrastructure. By combining crypto assets, payments, trading functionality, and tokenized securities within a single interface, NEAR is positioning its ecosystem around broader access to onchain financial products.
Market participants may continue watching adoption of tokenized securities, user demand for blockchain-based access to traditional assets, and how platforms integrate regulated financial products into decentralized environments.
