Cryptocurrency exchange HTX has expanded its derivatives offering by launching perpetual futures contracts for three new assets: CIFR/USDT, APD/USDT, and ASX/USDT.
According to the exchange’s announcement, users can now trade these contracts with both long and short positions, allowing them to speculate on potential price movements in either direction.
HTX is offering leverage between 1x and 20x for the new perpetual futures contracts, giving traders the ability to increase their market exposure. However, leveraged trading also carries higher risks, making position sizing and risk management important factors for traders.
The launch is part of HTX’s strategy to expand its derivatives portfolio. Perpetual futures have become one of the most widely used products in cryptocurrency markets because they allow continuous trading without a fixed expiration date.
Alongside the new contracts, HTX has launched a trading competition running from September 11 until September 15 at 3:00 PM, offering eligible participants a share of a reward pool containing 1 billion HTX tokens.
Users who complete registration and meet the required trading conditions will qualify for rewards based on the campaign rules. The exchange expects trading activity and user participation in the new contracts to increase as the products become available.
The expansion highlights the continued growth of crypto derivatives markets, where exchanges are competing to attract traders through new products, higher liquidity, and incentive programs.
