Strategy chairman Michael Saylor has hinted that the company may have added another substantial amount of Bitcoin to its holdings after posting the phrase “More orange than ever” alongside an updated Bitcoin accumulation chart.
The Oct. 4 chart from Strategy Tracker showed an unusually high concentration of orange purchase markers, a pattern that has historically appeared ahead of Strategy’s disclosures of additional Bitcoin acquisitions. The size of any potential new purchase has not yet been disclosed.
Strategy currently holds 847,666 BTC, representing approximately 4.04% of Bitcoin’s total supply, according to the supplied data. The company has spent about $63.95 billion accumulating its holdings, putting the average purchase price at $75,442.45 per Bitcoin.
At current market prices, the portfolio is valued at approximately $72.20 billion, leaving Strategy with more than $8.25 billion in unrealized gains. Its Bitcoin holdings have increased 26.05% since the beginning of 2026, representing an additional 175,169 BTC.
The company’s Bitcoin strategy also continues to influence its equity valuation. Strategy shares are trading at an estimated 1.14x mNAV, representing a 14% premium to the value of its net crypto reserves. Each diluted share corresponds to approximately 0.001972 BTC.
Strategy has financed its Bitcoin accumulation through a broader capital structure that includes specialized securities such as STRC, STRD, STRF and STRK. Together, these instruments represent approximately $12.68 billion and carry fixed annual yields ranging from 9% to 13.63%.
Citigroup analysts previously raised their price target for Strategy shares to $240, citing the company’s balance-sheet management. Whether Saylor’s latest post precedes another large Bitcoin purchase should become clearer when the company files its next regulatory disclosure.
