Dogecoin recorded approximately $57.2 million in net spot outflows over the past seven days as the cryptocurrency faced renewed selling pressure and declined nearly 9% during the period. The movement highlights changing market activity around DOGE as traders evaluate whether recent weakness represents continued distribution or a potential accumulation phase.
During the week, total spot outflows reached approximately $538.16 million, while inflows totaled about $480.96 million. The difference resulted in a negative net flow balance, indicating that more funds moved away from tracked spot markets than entered them.
However, exchange outflows alone do not confirm that large holders are accumulating Dogecoin or moving assets into long-term storage. Funds leaving exchanges can represent multiple activities, including transfers between wallets, internal asset management, or changes in trading strategies.
Dogecoin traded near $0.085 on Oct. 11 after falling from levels above $0.09 earlier in the month. The decline reflected continued pressure on the meme-based cryptocurrency as buyers struggled to maintain higher price levels.
The latest market activity has renewed attention on Dogecoin’s technical structure. Analyst Giannis Andreou identified the $0.082–$0.087 range as an important area for potential stabilization, suggesting that holding this zone could create conditions for a possible recovery attempt.
A stronger recovery scenario would require DOGE to regain the $0.092–$0.095 range, which has been identified as an important confirmation area. A successful move above this zone could improve market sentiment and open the possibility of testing higher levels.
Potential upside targets discussed include the $0.100–$0.105 region, followed by the $0.115–$0.117 area if momentum strengthens. These levels represent technical scenarios based on price structure and are not guaranteed future outcomes.
On the downside, losing the $0.0795 area could weaken the current recovery setup and signal continued selling pressure. For traders, maintaining support levels remains a key factor in determining whether DOGE can build a stronger base.
The market is also monitoring developments around Dogecoin investment products. Bitwise has announced that its Dogecoin ETF will stop trading on Oct. 14, with shareholder distributions scheduled after the liquidation process. The event represents a separate development and has not been confirmed as a direct cause of Dogecoin’s recent price movement.
For Dogecoin, the next major focus will be whether buyers return after the recent decline, whether exchange outflows continue, and whether the asset can recover key resistance levels. The balance between market demand and ongoing selling pressure will likely determine DOGE’s short-term direction.
