Visa’s stablecoin-linked card payment volume grew nearly 200% year over year during fiscal 2026, with more than 160 consumer, business and commercial programs operating globally.
Business and commercial programs accounted for about 17% of Visa’s stablecoin-linked card volume during the fiscal year. Visa did not disclose the total dollar value behind the growth figure.
Visa said stablecoin settlement activity recently surpassed a $20 billion annualized run rate, more than 15 times its year-earlier level. The company noted that card payment volume and settlement volume represent different parts of its network.
The growth points to expanding stablecoin use within payment infrastructure, with commercial applications becoming an increasingly relevant part of Visa’s stablecoin strategy.
