Blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence has estimated that TRON founder Justin Sun holds approximately $2.2 billion in identifiable on-chain cryptocurrency assets, placing him among the wealthiest individuals in the digital asset industry. The company’s September analysis ranked Sun second among individual cryptocurrency holders by identified on-chain assets, behind Bitcoin’s pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.
According to Arkham’s reported estimates, Sun’s portfolio includes approximately $1 billion in SUSDS, $653 million in staked Ether (STETH), $341 million in Bitcoin (BTC) and $142 million in Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC). His holdings also include an estimated $31 million in WLFI-related assets. These figures represent estimated values at the time of the research and may fluctuate with market prices, asset movements and changes in the wallets associated with Sun.
Arkham said its assessment was based on tracking wallets attributed to Sun across 10 blockchains. The findings highlight the breadth of his publicly identifiable digital asset exposure, spanning stablecoin-related holdings, liquid staking assets and Bitcoin-linked investments. However, wallet attribution and asset valuation remain important limitations when assessing the wealth of prominent cryptocurrency figures.
The distinction between identifiable on-chain assets and total personal wealth is particularly significant in Sun’s case. Arkham’s earlier assessment, published in February 2026, estimated his overall wealth at between $5 billion and $7 billion. That broader estimate is substantially higher than the $2.2 billion attributed to his identified on-chain holdings, reflecting the fact that blockchain wallet tracking does not necessarily capture every investment, business interest or other asset associated with an individual.
Satoshi Nakamoto remains at the top of Arkham’s ranking, with approximately $92 billion in estimated on-chain assets. Sun’s second-place position reflects the scale of the holdings Arkham has identified, rather than a definitive assessment of his total net worth relative to every other cryptocurrency investor.
The findings underscore both the transparency and limitations of blockchain analytics. Public blockchains allow researchers to track substantial digital asset balances, but identifying wallet ownership and determining an individual’s complete financial position remain challenging. Accordingly, Arkham’s figures should be interpreted as estimates of attributed on-chain assets, not a comprehensive audit of Sun’s personal wealth.
